PHASICS manufactures and commercializes high resolution wave front sensors (SID4) using a new patented technology: 4-Wave Lateral Shearing Interferometry (based on the Modified Hartmann Mask Diffractive Optics). As an optimization of the Hartmann test, this technology is able to directly measure any kind of wave front with unrivalled resolution and a tunable high dynamic range.
These performances, associated with the ease of use of the SID4 software, make the SID4 product line the optimal tool for LASER BEAM CHARACTERIZATION.
PHASICS has renowned expertise in SID4 wave front sensor implementation with any deformable optics for turn-key solutions in ADAPTIVE OPTICS.
The high precision, provided both by the shearing interferometry technique and SID4 robust implementation, directly addresses the industrial and scientific needs in OPTICAL METROLOGY:spherical and aspherical lens characterization, aberration analysis of optical systems. Because of its compactness and low sensitivity to alignment conditions, SID4 integration in a production line is straightforward.
