KALEO T (T for transmission) measures simultaneously the aberrations, the focal length, the PSF and the MTF of any optics and can characterize directly high NA optics without any relay lens. For optical metrology needs, Kaleo measures spherical lenses, aspherical lenses, intraocular lenses, photo lens objectives… Based on the PHASICS wave front sensing innovative technology (4-wave lateral shearing interferometry), KALEO gives a complete and precise lens characterization. It measures aberrations, MTF, PSF and the focal length of spherical and aspherical optics. This technology permits to characterize directly optics with numerical aperture up to 0.75 without any relay lens. Kaleo T advantages A collimated and calibrated light beam passes through the lens to characterize and is then analyzed with the wavefront sensor. Though working with very divergent beams, no relay lens is necessary between the lens and the sensor. The main advantage of PHASICS innovative technology for optical metrology is the high resolution of the phase map that allows a very precise characterization of the aberrations and the MTF of any optics. Very compact and insensitive to vibrations, KALEO combines ergonomics and easy measurement process with a robust software. It gives you a customized report. In industry, KALEO is used in production line environments as well as R&D department.
