Kaleo system

KALEO R (R for reflection) system allows the measurement of various parameters of optics surface quality in relection:

  • measurement of radius of curvature
  • measurement of surface quality(RMS, PtV, WFE)

Kaleo R is the solution for instantaneous, non-contact and precise 2D surface characterization. Within a few seconds, the optics surface quality and its radius of curvature are determined.

Kaleo R addresses the needs in R&D laboratories as well as in any production line.
Whether you would like to test manufactures optics or you are an integrator that wishes to test external supplier optics, with Kaleo R, you will not need a specific optical laboratory to check the quality of a surface.

Within seconds, you can get a GO/NO GO conformity report of your lens surface quality. Asperisation errors or defective mold are detected thanks to the comparison with the surface design.

The associated software allows you to compare the results with a theoretical surface (spherical or aspherical).
The Kaleo R system includes a source, a sample holder and a wavefront sensor.
